The Convent of the Infant Jesus was established in 1962, by Sisters of the Infant Jesus.

CIJ School is a secretarial school for girls. It offers a curriculum that preapares the students to go to work in business establishments such as Offices, and for those who are interested in futher education, readiness for university placement.

English is the medium of instruction and girls are required to speak English all the time in the school compound. Students are encouraged to take Pitman Examinations for English and Commercial Subjects at all levels.

A special course for M.6 aspirant is being offered on weekends in collaboration with government officers which enable students to pursue higher learning in a university of their choice.
   
  Requirements:
  M.3 or equivalent
   
  Admission Periods:
  November to March
   
  Entrance Exams:
  Applicants are tested on English in the following areas:
 

- Listening Comprehension
 

- Reading Comprehension
 

- Grammar
 

- Writing
 

- Simple Mathematics
   
  Interview:
  An interview is conducted on students who passed the written exams.
   
  School Term:
  May - September (1st Semester)
  November - February (2nd Semester)
